Independence Excavating (IX) was contracted to provide approximately 650,000 tons of limestone crushing into various size construction aggregates by Lafarge Holcim.
Lafarge Holcim had to move their existing plant in order to access additional reserves of material. Contracting with IX to provide their crushing needs was more cost effective then relocating their existing equipment to a temporary location in the quarry.
