Independence makes L'Oreal look beautiful!

In July, we began work for Lexington Streetsboro, LLC, constructing new retaining walls, truck road, and expanding the loading dock area at L’Oreal Professional Products division in Streetsboro. This facility is a packing and distribution center that employs over 1,200 people.

When the project is completed we will have moved over 40,000 c.y. of dirt and installed 17,200 square feet of new retaining wall. The retaining wall consists of 3’W x 3’H x 8’L concrete units that weigh 5,500 pounds each. Together with geogrid reinforcement, these walls will hold back soils as high as 40’to allow for construction of the truck loading dock and parking areas. The walls are a design ‐ build project and we have teamed up with Mack Concrete and Alber & Rice to design and construct the walls. Neff & Associates and EDP Consultants were hired by the owner to develop the overall plans and design criteria and oversee the project.
