Independence Excavating Receives AGC of America National Safety Award

On March 10, 2016, Independence
Excavating was recognized by the
Associated General Contractors of
America — at their national convention,
held in San Antonio, Texas — for our
commitment to safety.

Our Safety Director, Tom Steblinski,
along with Senior Project Manager,
Doug Thomas, presented to judges on
behalf of our safety culture and proudly
accepted the Construction Safety
Excellence Award in the Federal/Heavy
Division with over 900,000 man-hours
worked in 2015.
