The DiGeronimo family has been in the construction business since 1956. Their experience has guided the organization in a tradition of quality construction. Careful succession planning has helped us pass the torch on to the next generation of leaders at Independence Excavating.

Our field management team is one of the strongest in the industry. On average, our superintendents have worked with the company for more than 15 years. We look to combine the experience and tradition of our veterans with the fresh perspective of our new estimators, project engineers, and tradesmen.

Investing in The Next Generation

To ensure a tradition of quality construction in our future workforce, we designed a co-op/intern program. Our program draws new construction professionals from colleges and universities across the United States. By combining the theories learned in the classroom with practical applications on the job, we hope to contribute to professional development, allowing students to contribute to shaping the future of the company and our project successes.
